Our Purpose

  • To provide a safe and loving child centered environment in which preschoolers can learn.

  • To partner with parents to encourage them in the task of spiritual training for their children.

  • To teach the Bible effectively, creatively, and purposefully; emphasizing the importance of a strong biblical foundation laid from infancy. 2 Timothy 3:14-15

We Value

  • The Bible as our focus

  • Each and every child as important to Jesus

  • The Family/Home as the center of faith development

  • Scripture as our foundation

“When Jesus saw it, He was indignant and said to them, ‘Let the little children come to Me. Don’t stop them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Mark 10:14 (HCSB)

“Listen, Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is One. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Bind them as a sign on your hand and let them be a symbol on your forehead. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” Deut 6:4-9 (HCSB)

Sundays at Meadowbrook

Sunday School at 9:30 a.m.
We offer age-graded Sunday School classes for preschoolers. From newborn up to age two, classes are divided by age and ability. Beginning at age two through kindergarten, classes are divided according to the public school criteria of the August 31st birthday. Preschoolers meet on the first floor of the Education Building.

Extended Teaching Care (ETC)
8:10 a.m. and
10:45 a.m.
ETC is our worship care program. It is provided for infants through age three during each worship service. Bible truths that are taught in Sunday School are extended through this hour. Children are taught by teachers who rotate on a monthly schedule.

Family Worship 8:10 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
At age four, we encourage family worship by allowing you the privilege of teaching and modeling praise, prayer, and worship during the Sunday morning worship services. Children need to hear their pastor preach and see that their family is hearing God’s Word. Children need to be taught this aspect of worship. Children’s worship bulletins are available at each entrance to the sanctuary.

Wednesdays at Meadowbrook
6-7:15 PM

Childcare is provided for children birth – 1 year old.  Through our Mission Friends Program our 2 – 5 year old preschoolers learn that while people throughout the world share similarities and differences, Jesus loves us all!  Through activities, stories and Bible thoughts, they learn how they can be helpers as they learn about God’s helpers-missionaries as well as the joy of praying for and giving to missions. Preschoolers meet on the first floor of the Education Building.
